Greta Menzies is a multidiciplinary artist with a background in textile design (MDes) living in Pōneke Wellington, Aotearoa NZ, with her partner and three children.

An ongoing interest in the psychology of belief, absurdist philosophy and mysticism sees her making work with an absurdist sense of humour spanning drawing, painting, textiles, ceramic sculpture and video.

She also works commercially as a designer & illustrator for product, print and animation. Trained in textile design with a focus on Illustration, Greta is an expert in creating repeat-patterns, and works regularly for Thunderpants NZ, USA & UK, and freelance for other clients.

Greta teaches ceramic handbuilding at KMC Studio in Wellington, and art workshops at tertiary institutions, galleries and in the community.
