Greta Menzies is an artist living in Pōneke Wellington, Aotearoa NZ, with her partner and three children. Her multidisciplinary practice sits at the intersection of art and design.
Greta's art practice is based in drawing, painting, sculpting and video. Recent work explores the psychology of belief, absurdist philosophy and meaning-making.
She also works commercially as an illustrator, and textile designer for product, print and animation. Trained in textile design with a focus on Illustration, Greta is an expert in creating repeat-patterns, and works regularly for Thunderpants NZ, USA & UK, and sporadically for other clients. She also guest lectures & tutors at tertiary institutions, galleries and in the community.
